Growing up with a single mom and then becoming a single mom herself at a young age, Ginger is well diversified in the trials and tribulations of this beautiful thing called life. She, as many Yoga teachers and practitioners began to find answers that made sense and transformed her life when she discovered Yoga. The healing power and spiritual depth that comes with the practice led Ginger to where she is today. Ginger is an E-RYT 500 and 95 RCYT, YACEP, and lead trainer of a 200 hr Registered Yoga Alliance school.
Her background is in Communications. She is dedicated to making various forms of Yoga available to all ages and all levels. Ginger is certified to teach Vinyasa, Yin, Children’s Yoga, Teen Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Yoga for Trauma Survivors. She also holds a Y12SR Leadership certification, enabling her to hold space for those in recovery. Ginger works heavily in the recovery community herself. She is committed to continued education through workshops and spending time with other teachers in the South Florida community and wherever else an opportunity for exploring new growth may arise. She will always welcome you in her studio and classes at Satya Anahata Yoga with open arms and an open heart!
Breath with Movement. Teaching Beginners, facilitating Belief in Self, releasing Trauma, finding your Voice, Cultivating the Mind, Body, Soul Connection.
I teach Vinyasa flows from Gentle to Intense as well as Yin Yoga. I hold several certifications, Vinyasa and Yin is what I teach the most inside the studio.
I create space for releasing old stagnate energy and/or traumas and belief systems that hold us back.
What you can expect to learn from a one hour private class with Ginger:
In Vinyasa, you will learn how to move at your pace allowing your breath to be your guide. In Yin, we will hold the poses longer gaining access to the fascia in the connective tissues allowing the body to release tension and stress. I will guide you by using your breath and marrying your practice with deep meditation and relaxation.
